Intern – Project Management 

Description

An established aftermarket automotive performance company is on the hunt for a talented and eager project manager. We are a rapidly growing company with no shortage of opportunities for someone looking to dive headfirst into new opportunities.

You will gain first-hand experience with the general pace of a growing business.  Experience in project management and customer relationship tooling (CRM)  or databases is preferred.

Office and warehouse is located in Annapolis Junction, near Laurel and Columbia.

Responsibilities

• Leverage and create new customer databases to meet company growth demands
• Assist with the photo documentation of our product line and inventory
• Assist in the gathering of information and processes to be integrated in to sales force.com
• Assist with day to day process logging and creation

Requirements

Passion for automobiles is preferred.   Experience with customer relationship management tools is preferred.   Applicants should have excellent communication skills, with the ability to work in teams.

Intern – Media Creator

Description

An established aftermarket automotive performance company is on the hunt for a driven, talented and eager media and design intern. We are a rapidly growing company with no shortage of opportunities for someone looking to dive headfirst into marketing media, product photography, website graphics, image manipulations and much, much more. 

This is a killer opportunity for someone looking to get right into the heart of how the impact engaging graphics have on the success of a company. Our Marketing Department is looking for someone with an appetite to learn, but that brings existing knowledge and immense drive to the table. It’s a fast paced, deadline-oriented working environment requiring focus, multi-tasking and a genuine “get it done” attitude. 

You will gain first-hand experience with the general pace of Online Marketing and Graphic Design. Experience is a must-have for anyone serious about job placement post-grad, and this will be a perfect opportunity to build and expand your portfolio. If the fit is right for both parties, an employment opportunity may be available within the Marketing Department. 

Office and warehouse is located in Annapolis Junction, near Laurel and Columbia.

• Image and photo corrections and editing 
• Web graphic creation (such as home page images) 
• Product Photography
• Video, Photography, and Graphics for Marketing and Promotion

Requirements

• Proficiency with the Adobe Creative Suite, particularly PhotoShop and InDesign (with a Portfolio to show skill set) 
• Proficiency in photography and videography
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
• Creativity, quick wit, attention to detail, high aptitude for learning, sense of humor 
• Strong work ethic and serious interest in design and media creation as well as the automotive industry

Intern - Engineer

Description

An established aftermarket automotive performance company is on the hunt for an aspiring engineer.  Housing our own Research and Development team and state of the art tooling we manufacture exhaust and turbo systems on premises.  As such, we are a rapidly growing company that with no shortage of opportunities for someone looking to dive headfirst into new opportunities.

You will gain first-hand experience with the general pace of a rapidly growing business and taking products from design to fabrication to manufacturing.  Classroom study will be considered.  Knowledge of modeling software such as CAD and “Solid Works” preferred

Office and warehouse is located in Annapolis Junction, near Laurel and Columbia.

Responsibilities

• Assist Engineer and R&D team members where needed
• Assist with the development of a CAD library for existing products
• Assist in the generation of drawings using “Solid Works” modeling tool
• Assist with measurement and inspection of products
• Assist with the organization of the engineering department

Requirements

Passion for automobiles is preferred.  Applicants should have excellent analytical and math skills, with the ability to work in teams. We are looking for students majoring in Engineering, Physics, and or Mathematics ideally.
